What’s Under My Sink?
As a greener cleaning mom, I use safe, natural cleaning products and avoid toxic chemicals when cleaning my home. In this new weekly feature, I will spotlight a household cleaning product under my sink.
Today, I will spotlight Basic H2 Organic Super Cleaning Concentrate by Shaklee.
BASIC H2:
• Phosphate Free
• Non-Toxic
• PH Balanced
• Non-Irritating
• Non-Magnetic
How I Clean My Kitchen
with BASIC H2
I mix 1/4 tsp. Basic H2 in 16 oz.
spray bottle of water (or 2 t. in 1 gal. water) to instantly
clean my kitchen counters, doors, woodwork, walls, etc.
Cost: Basic H2 is 22 cents per gallon vs. Fantastic Heavy Duty Cleaner at $9.48 per gallon
That’s less than making your own household cleaners from products like vinegar and baking soda!
FLOORS: I mop my floors with 1 tsp. Basic H2 to a gallon of
water. Wring mop dry, wipe up spots and dirt, leaving
floor shining and clean. This replaces mop cleaners which can be toxic.
MIRRORS, WINDOWS, and GLASS TOPS
I just add 1-2 drops of Basic H2
to a pint of water or put in a 16 oz. spray nozzle unit (or
1/8 t. in 1 gal. water). I use a microfiber window cleaning cloth to wipe dry. No streaks!
This window cleaner cost under a penny a gallon vs. Windex which is $10 a gallon! See my Shaklee cost comparison chart.
