When you are trying to lose weight, holiday parties have lots of temptations that may lead to overeating. But, you can attend these parties and have fun if you follow these 3 strategies in my video below:
My final suggestion is to remind yourself WHY you are working towards a healthy weight. Picture the hard work you’ve done. Is it really worth it to cave at the party?
Repeat after me: “I am a healthy weight and I love the way I feel when I eat sensible portions and healthy foods.” Rewire your brain with this affirmation.
So, go to your party, have fun with these strategies.

It’s that time of year, isn’t it?
The holidays were rough and it was hard to resist all the high calorie foods.
You have an extra 5 pounds on top of the 10 or more pounds you already wanted to lose.
Now you are ready to get started on that diet again!
But, you are confused about what to do since there is so much conflicting advice out there.
So you may just stall in the research phase, or worse you might get “taken” by a diet fad or some great marketing that lures you in to spend your money without concern for your results or your safety!
Or you might be tempted to try some diet pills that in the end may cause you more problems that you started with. (My daughter did this and her entire monthly cycle stopped and she had to go to the doctor and take medicine to get regulated again!)
