What Is Project MAHMA?
Project MAHMA stands for Moms at Home Making a … Difference (and a whole lot of money!)
Project MAHMA is a coalition of Shaklee families across North America who stay at home with their kids and earn income by helping others live healthier and more independent lives.
Project MAHMA was formed as an opportunity for moms and dads to:
- Have the very best for their family’s health, well-being and financial future
- Realize their personal potential
- Make a difference in the lives of others
- Do it all AND stay home with their kids

Join us for another inspirational Project MAHMA Call. Hosting this week is Linda Berkheiser (Executive Coordinator, PA). Linda and her husband Rick have four children and seven grandchildren. Linda is a Registered Nurse who has worked in the nursing profession for over 35 years. After being introduced to Shaklee 25 years ago she made a commitment to introduce 100 families a year to a healthier lifestyle. She and Rick have enjoyed many incentive trips and cruises over the years and love the Shaklee lifestyle.
Denise Williams (Associate, NY). Denise is originally from Guyana, South America and has been in the U.S. for over 23 years. She is the mother of two teenagers — a boy 18 and a girl 16. She works as an administrative assistant with a bi-state agency. At age five her son had an asthma attack and that motivated her to seek natural solutions to make her family and home healthier. She found Shaklee in 2000 and during that time she and her family have been experiencing better health. She is building her business by sharing her story with other parents, childcare centers, schools and other organizations. Tune in to hear more of Denise’s story!
Beth Egan (Director, PA). Beth and her husband John have two married daughters and five beautiful grandchildren. Beth started in Shaklee as a customer mainly purchasing nutritional products. After hearing reports about the toxic chemicals that are in products that are used in homes every day, she became concerned about what was in the products that she was using and how they may be affecting the health of her grandchildren. She decided to start using Shaklee personal care products and Get Clean® products and loved the results. Having been a teacher Beth decided that the Shaklee Opportunity would not only give her the chance to earn some extra income for retirement but she would be able to make a difference by educating others.
Teresa Scholze (Distributor, PA). Teresa Scholze is a wife and mother of two teenage daughters, ages 17 and 14. She has been employed by one of Pennsylvania’s top health insurance companies for the past ten years as an administrative assistant for one of the area’s most notable geriatric physicians. A very active member in the community, she works on committees for her local Cystic Fibrosis chapter and volunteers at St. Victor’s Church in Bairdford, PA were she is an Adult Youth Leader for Teen Youth Group, instructor for Liturgy of the Word for Children and a member of the Women’s Guild. Teresa is also a member of the Women’s Small Business Association (WSBA) and was newly elected to serve as Vice President of the Deer Lakes Band Board for the 2011 – 2012 school year. Looking for more security for her family Teresa became a Shaklee Distributor and her interest has been rejuvenated in working towards a healthier lifestyle.
Lori Goulet (Star Associate, CA). Lori is the mother of two children ages two and five. Lori is also a trained Montessori teacher who enjoys yoga, working outside in the garden, and being active in church ministries. She loves finding creative ways to fit her Shaklee business into every facet of her life, and especially enjoys sharing health and wellness information with other parents of young children.
